Applicants must agree to the following at the time of application submission and upon accepting a grant:
You represent and warrant your organization has not agreed to engage in a business transaction with Zendesk, Inc. as a condition or requirement of receiving the grant.
You are not aware of any relationships, projects, or activities that your organization, or any of the offices or board members on behalf of your organization, have that create or could create a potential conflict of interest in connection with this application or the receipt of a potential grant.
Grants will be distributed to awardees within two months of the initial award announcement which is anticipated to take place in Q4 of 2024 There is no time limit on when the funds must be spent.
Zendesk Tech for Good will work with award recipients to determine grant deliverables. Zendesk Foundation grants are unrestricted but Tech for Good may request a few reporting deliverables such as:
- Collaboration with Zendesk to determine the best way to get started using Zendesk software and collaboration on identifying opportunities for pro bono support;
- Agreement to provide key program statistics, typically following any metrics the program is already tracking;
- Collaboration with Zendesk to determine how to track program efficiency via Zendesk tools (ie. number of service tickets solved);
- Agreement to provide photos, quotes, and other program collateral for joint marketing opportunities;
- Agreement to collaborate with Zendesk on storytelling opportunities;
- Agreement to answer a short annual partner survey.
Software is available as long as needed for the project. Zendesk will annually audit the use of software and determine whether the use and eligibility requirements are being met.
